In the ‘Eph 5 session’, Andrew Wilson helpfully explains the purpose of marriage as a picture illustrating Jesus’ relationship with the Church - significant for all of us, whether single or married.

Why we break bread? – Alan Rose

Given as part of the Why do we do this? series to City Valley Church on 14th July 2019. Alan gives us an excellent understanding of this central practise to our faith, namely how Jesus is the host who invites us to join him where we are all equal at his table. This talk is particularly timely in a season of smaller meetings, and informal times of gathering with other believers in our home, gardens and parks.
